Suzuki’s US division has recently announced that it will introduce a special feature on its most of its 2013 model year vehicles, in the form of a Garmin sound system that will come with Pandora Internet radio.
The system will also come with a voice command feature, so that it offers a safety bonus, alongside the entertainment one. We have to explain that the Garmin radio needs to be connected to a smartphone in order to be used, as the car itself doesn't have any additional receiver.
“Pandora offers a unique radio experience so we’re pleased to enable their offering for consumers who choose the Garmin infotainment system for Suzuki vehicles," said Matt Munn, Garmin’s managing director automotive OEM. "Our built-in voice command technology makes it easy for drivers to control Pandora’s features from the in-dash radio of their vehicle."
