Kelley Blue Book (kbb.com), a provider of new and used car information, reports an increase of over 91 percent in new-car web traffic for the Hyundai Sonata, after the car’s aggressive marketing campaign implemented during Super Bowl XLIV last Sunday.
The Honda Accord Crosstour and the Kia Sorento’s adds aired during Super Bowl also returned highly successful results, as the two car’s Internet traffic also considerably surged consequently.
This is the second consecutive year when Hyundai’s most advertised car during the Super Bowl saw the greatest increase in web traffic to kbb.com that day when compared to other cars which benefitted of similar marketing. In 2009, Hyundai’s Genesis registered a 82 percent increase in traffic on February 1, when it was advertised during Super Bowl XLIII.

This was closely seconded by the Audi A3 TDI “Green Police”, which gathered 21% of the votes. Hyundai’s “10 Years/Favre” took third place with 17% of the votes, followed by the Volkswagen “Punch Dub” spot, which took 16% of the votes. Kia Sorento’s “Joyride” was voted by 10% of the users, thus gaining fifth place. 201 Internet users answered the poll.
