Stupid "Mine Is Bigger than Yours" Dispute Ends with Flipped-Over Car

Accidents can sometimes come out of nothing. You're cruising down the road, minding your own business, listening to your favorite record or just enduring what's on the radio, when, bang, out of the blue, a car hits you when you least expect it.
That certainly wasn't the case here, though. Both drivers knew exactly what they were doing, and both were in the wrong. One more than the other, legally speaking, while from a moral point of view, the tables are completely turned.

Let's analyze the situation for a moment. We have the cam car that's driving in the first lane, apparently minding its own business. Then there's the blue car that comes from behind on the third lane, clearly moving at a greater speed initially. The blue car, however, now decides it needs to get on the right, probably noticing that its exit is coming up, so it puts the blinker on and goes from third to the second lane without any incidents.

It then tries to get all the way to the first lane in one single move, but the cam car is having none of that. It should be noted that in the meantime, the lines separating the lanes have turned solid, so the blue car isn't just driving a tad too aggressively, it's also performing an illegal maneuver at this point.

We'll assume the cam car isn't being driven by a police officer, though, so what it does next puts it on par with its fellow traffic colleague in blue regarding douchebaggery: it accelerates and cuts the blue sedan off, blocking its access to the first lane. It then takes advantage of the large truck in the second lane and matches its speed. I wouldn't be willing to bet the blue car actually needs to get in the first lane at this point, or it's just a stupid ambition, but it can be seen trying futilely to squeeze in.

It finally thinks there's an opening and goes for it, but the cam car is determined to act its ridiculous role till the end, and so it doesn't lay off the throttle. The result is a self-inflicted PIT maneuver for the blue car that sends it into the railing, and then flips it over on its roof. However, there are no winners here, only two very big losers who allowed their petty rivalry to risk the safety of everybody around them. Luckily, assuming those in the blue sedan were wearing their seatbelts, everyone should have come out of this unharmed. But it's only lucky if they've also learned something.
