Even if you don’t live in Europe, you still might’ve heard of Stromae or, at least, one of his songs. It goes a bit like “Alors on dance...” and then a trumpet follows, with an unmistakable rhythm. Sounds familiar?
Yeah, I thought so. You must’ve heard it on the radio or in a hipster friend’s car and that’s actually ok, because that was a brilliant song. Now, the Belgian musician is back, with another mind-blowing song, Papaoutai.
What’s even more impressive is his video, featuring brightly colored outfits, prodigy dancers and a couple of vintage cars, including some Fiat 500s (the originals, of course) and a BMW Isetta that he’s driving at one point.
Well, maybe driving might be a bit of an overstatement but you’ll see what we’re talking about in the video below.
