Everyone in America, that is a BMW fan and ever wanted to upgrade his car, knows who Steve Dinan is. Without his creative skills, one of the best BMW tuning companies out there would've existed.
Now, he is selling his Alpina B7 and some lucky guy is going to go home in this unique vehicle. As you already know, the B7 is upgraded by the German engineers to produce 540 HP and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque.

However, since this one belonged to Steve, the guys from Dinan did some tuning as well and now the car has 584 HP and 644 lb-ft (873 Nm) of torque. That's more than the M6 and M5 that use the M version of the N63 4.4-liter V8 engine that's under the B7's bonnet.

That's not all. The list of upgrades adds up to a total of $32,786 (€25,212) and includes:
  • Stage 2 Engine Software
  • Free Flow Exhaust
  • Suspension System
  • Front Brake Kit
  • Rear Brake Kit
  • Wheel Set (w/ custom finish)
  • Limited Slip Differential
The car is a 2011 model and has 17,602 miles (28,163 km) on the odometer so it's actually almost brand new and has all the specific Alpina upgrades like Black Nappa Leather, Ceramic Controls and many others. Furthermore, Dinan offers a 4-year warranty for the car and for consequential damages.

Considering the Kelly Blue Book Value of the B7 is $87,450 (€67,241) and the $32,786 (€25,212) value of the upgrades, the asking price of $106,995 (€82,277) is actually quite a bargain (if you have the money for a 7er). Oh, and you'll also get to brag to your friends that this car belonged to Steve Dinan.
