Our spy photographers had a field day following Mercedes test prototypes recently. The Stuttgart star made its presence felt on German roads as a white sedan with minimal disguise, while smart emerged with its first full-bodied fortwo.
Now we also have the first images of the next generation C-Class Estate, or Touring, which will make its debut next year. Wearing heavier camouflage on the side and back, the compact haller doesn't allow us to see it in all its glory quite yet. Luckily, the front end isn't that covered up and hints at similar design to the S-Class.
This test prototype appears to have a high level of spec, with LED daytime running lights, chrome door handles and new, quite large exhaust tips integrated into the lower bumper. The body kit belongs to either a sport or Avantgarde model.
the S205 will rival F31 BMW's 3 Series Touring with an array of four and six-cylinder turbo engines, some available with 4Matic all-wheel drive.
