Oh dear, Rolls Royce is developing a new car at the Nurburgring: James May is going to ‘love’ this. The car in question is a camouflaged prototype for the upcoming Ghost Coupe or Corniche, which will be the most sport and powerful Rolls Royce ever made.
Rolls Royce hopes this car will attract a whole new, much younger cliental than the Drophead, something which should be helped by a lower starting price for this model than the half-million Drophead.

We don’t yet know what the coupe will be called, though parent company BMW has trademarked the Corniche name for future use.

The powertrain will be made up by a 6.6-liter V12 twin-turbo, which is rumored to produce as much as 600 horsepower. Shifting will be taken care of by an eight-speed automatic from ZF.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
