The Mercedes Benz CLS ignited the fire of the four-door luxury coupe in our hearts back in 2004, and and endless supply of aftermarket widebody kits followed thereafter. Now, the German automaker is getting ready to introduce the next big thing - an ultra-stylish wagon with flowing lines.
It’s going to be based on the CLS and will combine the “Shooting Brake” body with a five-door wagon, but Daimler will likely actually call it a “shooting break” like the concept. Whatever the case, a full engine range is already completed and will be launched at the Paris Motor Show in September, and this is the last and coolest car to undergo testing.

Yes, it’s the top-of-the-range CLS 63 AMG version of the car that will feature some cosmetic changes, such as as bigger intakes, wheels, tires, exhaust tips and arches. There’s also something special under the hood.

The AMG version will pack the new twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 pushing out around 518 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque through the rear wheels.   You can also expect a de-restricted version of the car to arrive with even more power and lifter speed governor. How does 571 horsepower sound in a car with room for an actual horse?
