Hello and welcome to the rich and famous edition of our spyshots. Because that's what this is, a car for the rich and famous, or at least one that will make you feel like you're famous if money is all you have.
Originally believed to be called the SLC, rumors have panned out to just a few letters and numbers: C190 and GT. It's going to pick up from where the SLS is leaving off when its production ends, but a completely different formula will be undertaken.

As seen in our latest spyshots, the design is much more contemporary, less brutish and more… Porsche 911 with a dash of S-Class. The heavy black camo has recently been take off the prototype and as a result we can see just how sexy the GT is going to be. Mercedes cars have always been great, but this one will make you go "911 who?" all the way to the bank.

In order to make AMG's bespoke products special to more people, the GT will be cheaper, a bit smaller and will also adopt a downsized engine.

Original rumors stated the AMG GT will be powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo V8, the M178 that will be shared with the C63 AMG. However, there might also be a biturbo V6 base model, adopting an AMG version of the 3-liter lump of power going in the E400. This could be what we're looking at here, a base-model with small wheels and a V6.
