BMW's future city car, supposed to be launched this year, is slowly, but surely, making its way to the assembly lines. The latest spyshots show some pretty interesting details.
When you first look at these new pictures, especially the ones from the side, you can't help but feel that something is missing, that this is not really a BMW. And you would be right. This is the first car in over 50 years that seems to be missing the Hofmeister kink, BMW's trademark character line.

All the other traditional features are there: the front kidney grilles and the headlights with the renowned 'angel-eyes' but the kink is missing. This is something we expected actually, since the Concept didn't feature the 'kink' either.

Some new areas we can glimpse at today are the lower parts of the front bumper and all of the roof. It's not too much, but it will have to do for now. By the looks of the front bumper, it seems like the final car will be very much like the Concept vehicle, a very good news for us.
