Most people assume the S-Class is the ultimate Mercedes driving machine because it's their flagship. But for sheer driving enjoyment, it's got nothing on the CLS-Class. This has always been the case, ever since the first generation four-door coupe. Next year, Mercedes will help their brutish ballet dancer look a little bit better with a facelift.
We've caught up with the facelift for the CLS 63 AMG, a model that has just received updates under the bonnet this year. However, the 2015 model year will change its skin to look more like its new brothers and sisters.
Not that much is hidden from our view on this semi-camouflaged prototype. The new upper grille is in clear view. It's got a more protruding shape that makes the car look bulky and muscular. The lines of the bonnet have remained unchanged, but different air intakes are probably hiding under that white vinyl. Also new are the side skirts. Changes are indeed limited, but the 2015 CLS will be instantly recognizable.
