The car with most likely the longest name in Mercedes-Benz nomenclature, the 585 hp CLS 63 AMG S-Model Shooting Brake is about six months away from receiving a mid-cycle facelift and has been spied for the first time in Spain.
With Mercedes-Benz test drivers getting so cozy with the pre-production prototypes they are in charge of, it seems that one of them forgot to put the camouflage hood over the new free-standing Comand screen in the interior, a photo of which we exclusively showed you yesterday.
The model was spied while parked in a Spanish supermarket, so our spy photographers were able to take photos of it from all major angles.
As expected, the exterior facelift changes are rather minimal, with the biggest modification comprising of an E 63 AMG-inspired front apron, while the rear bumper will be slightly restyled using the same principle.
Engine-wise we are expecting no changes, with the 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged M157 V8 still offering 585 hp and 800 Nm (590 lb ft) of torque, enough to propel the sexy S-Model Shooting Brake from naugth to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds.
