A lot if not all of our recent spyshots feature European cars testing in the snow, and that’s basically because Europe is gripped strongly... by snow right now. The car you see here is the upcoming CLS Shooting Brake, which is likely not going to be called that, but will debut later this year.
The prototype of the CLS with a big boot is nearing completion and we should see this handsome luggage carrier at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March. We have to say that in this sort of carmine red it looks especially unconventional and handsome.

The back end looks a bit impractical, since you’ll have to lift your luggage quite a bit to get them through that hatch. And speaking of the the hatch, it’s very sloped, which will stop you from fitting in some really long peaces of furniture. Did we make it sound flawed? No it isn’t, the design is perfect for one of the most elegant Mercs out there. expect the engine range to offer everything from the 3.5-liter V8 to the full AMG with 5.5-liter V8 and 518 hp at hand.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
