Mercedes is working overtime for the development of the new A-Class and we want to show you some photos that show a prototype of the upcoming five-door version of the car. This is the first A-Class that we’ve been excited about, since the mono-volume MPV shape has been changed to one that’s better suited to... normal people - a hatchback with plenty of room and an engine that isn’t hidden under the dashboard.
Under the hood, the upcoming A-Class should borrowe its engines range from the new B-Class, which means that we’ll get up to five petrol unitsm with power ranging between 109 and 204 hp and four oil burners, with outputs between 122 and 204 hp. This is likely one of the range topping petrol, since it sports the two exhaust tips.
There’s also an AMG version coming soon (this isn’t it!) that will offer about 300 hp, AWD and a dual-clutch transmission.
