It might seem to US customers like the Fiesta hatchback and sedan are relatively new cars, but in fact the three-door version of the car came out a full four years ago, based on a concept from 2005. The car is still one of Europe’s favorite supermini’s second only to the VW Polo, and this is mainly because it’s super and not very mini. They even got Ken Block to ride around in a rally version.
Over the years, the Blue Opel’s engineers have given it new life with better features, new engines, the introduction of stop-start and so on. Now, Ford is giving it the much-needed mid-cycle facelift, and our team of photographers have caught up to the facelift version as it was undergoing winter testing.

The car is only camouflaged on the front and back, so the changes are not going to be major. However, you can be sure there’s a new set of bumpers, grille, headlights and headlights. You can clearly make out that LEDs have been added to the bottom of the headlights.

As for the engine range, the new 1.0-liter EcoBoost will surely be introduced, but as with the B-MAX, this three-cylinder fuel saver will not actually replace the 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter units that are cheaper to buy.
