Tuesday the world skipped a beat when the i8 was unveiled. Everyone loved the Concept car but few people actually expected BMW to present a production version that looked so much like the original.
But they did and it is exquisite. Excepting the see-through doors, the i8 is almost exactly the same as the concept. Not only that but the looks also have the grunt they need to blow you away.

However, even though the car was officially unveiled, BMW is still testing their prototypes at the Nurburgring, to make sure we get the best possible experience out of the USD135,000 car.

In one of the latest spy videos taken at the world-famous track, the i8 was spotted doing furious laps. According to one of BMW's officials, the i8 handles pretty much like the E92 M3 and that means a lot.

The 362 HP car uses an internal combustion engine that has 3 cylinders and 1.5-liters of displacement, is turbocharged and responsible for 231 HP of the total horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. That unit is also responsible for the sound you'll hear in the video below. Good enough for you?
