This week was definitely full for BMW. With 8 world premieres at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor show, the world is still focused on the innovative i8 and rightfully so. After all, it does mark the beginning of a new era.
Prices for the new car are roughly the same in 3 currencies: USD135,000 in the US, GBP99,000 in the UK and EUR126,000 for Germany. That price will bring you a proper sports car with a fuel consumption of 2.5 l/100 km (94 mpg).
That's before mentioning the rest of the performances like 4.4 seconds from 0 to 62 mph, 362 HP and 570 Nm coming from the electric motor and 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine at the back.

Using it, you can configure your own BMW plug-in hybrid and decide whether it's worth the time and money and then drive down to the nearest dealership.
