When it comes to customization, the Ducati and Moto Guzzi bikes have a fierce competitor: the almighty Kawasaki W800, the modern bike with classic looks and a retro, unmistakeable character. And there are few things nicer than seeing a W800 customized by creative, talented teams able to bestow an alter ego upon the original machine. And when such a work is commissioned by Kawasaki themselves, things are even nicer!
Therefore it's time to introduce to you the England-based customizers working under the Spirit of the Seventies (SotS)banner, Tim and Kev. Kawasaki wanted a “different” bike for their stand at the Motorcycle Live Show in the UK, so SotS came up with no less than three different designs.

This green beast won the hearts of the Kawasaki officials and Kawasaki Facebook fans. Despite the fact that the original W800 is already a bike with stunning classic looks, Tim and Kev put up a lot of work in the newly-baptized “ Spirit”. As nice as the original headlamp was, it gave way to a Spirit custom design led by LSL brackets, accompanied by Oberon turn signals and a motocross handlebar with Oury grips.

The Spirit W800 received custom fenders and a completely new exhaust system we simply adore, an aluminium bash plate and a re-built, '70's-approved seat. Add in the Revolution Paint finish and a Born+Bred Leatherworks leather tool roll under the seat and there you go, a new W800 with amazing looks and retro character. Via Bike Exif.
