While some might argue that in this crash it was the car which bears the major fault, it will definitely be a fair split between the driver and the rider. And still, with all the rain, I'd still say the scooter rider was the bigger moron.
And that is simply because riding a scooter, which already has a rather lousy stopping power, especially when higher speeds are involved, will stand no real chance to slow down enough in the wet, in such a predicament, ABS or not.
So knowing that one is driving a two-wheeler which kind of fails to stop in time would make me think that the scooter riders would be more careful. The video proves me so wrong. Blame it on the rider.
