The Toyota Etios got some aesthetic upgrades for 2013, both for the sedan and hatchback version and it will be exported to South Africa, Mauritius and Zimbabue.
The Etios’ exterior got body colored redesigned front grille, side mirrors and doorhandles, while at the back it received restyled taillights. Inside, the instrument cluster gets an ice-blue backlight while the seats will have additional cushioning, height adjustment for the driver and adjustable headrests. More features include a new audio system for the Xs model, chrome finished air vents surroundings and a restyled gear knob.
There won’t be any modifications under the hood though, the same 66 kW (88 hp) 1,5-liter petrol engine remaining the only one to power the vehicle.
Prices for the new Etios starts at 115,800 Rand (INR 6.72 lakhs) for the entry level hatch, going up to 126,700 Rand (INR 7.36 lakhs) for the top spec sedan model.
