Solar-Powered Stroller for Next Generation Babies

As we are already accustomed with, Tokio Design Week is full of odd inventions that never stop to shock the audience. The more we think, the more we figure out that they might actually have been created with that specific purpose... of being weird.

But coming back to what's both stunning and ecologic at the same time, some of the mothers who want what is best for their beloved babies might be interested in having the solar-powered stroller. As the name indicates, the gadget uses 100% solar power, we might assume for moving, saving in this way the mothers' efforts to push the vehicle.

Why would mothers would like to be spared of the pleasure of managing the stroller while walking in the park for example seems not to have been one of the top priorities of the anonymous designer. Perhaps, it was just the world pressure upon his poor shoulders to design something that produces no pollution at all.

Due to the fever that the Blue Planet is heading towards a slow but sure decline (and the overuse of conventional energies happens to be among the first reasons), designers appear to have come across a certain level of panic. Thinking that the future of the planet stays exactly in their hands, one might start to believe that it's of high importance to create objects whose main asset is that they keep the planet green.

Or it was just the fact that it was only a student exhibition... we might think without any related parental experience who effectively haven't thought of the true utility of his or her creation. Strange as it may seem to create something just for the Art's and Technology's sake, we must admit the design of the stroller is really catchy and we are sure babies of the future will enjoy having their first walk in it.
