Smart ForVision Tech Explained in Video

Smart is set to unveil the ForVision concept, which was created in collaboration with the BASF chemical company, at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show. After the carmaker showed us a few teaser images of the car, it has now released a video in which it presents a few innovations used by the concept.
To be more specific, the vehicle will feature special wheels and seats made from a state of the art plastic. The company claims that the seats are solid, yet lighter than those made of aluminum. We have to mention that the plastic used for them has been combined with a custom foam padding.

As for the rims, the fact that they use this material allows each one to be about 3 kg lighter than standard ones. The automotive producer is testing the wheels in order to use them for its future cars.

Our say: how about something from The Chemical Brothers as a soundtrack?
