New smart Boxfresh style edition Launched

A couple of months back we were telling you about a smart concept created by British street brand Boxfresh in collaboration with Brabus, which at that time was likely to stay a one-off vehicle. We were, however, anticipating a limited edition production model that was to come later in the year, but with no official comments on the subject made... so far.

We say that because the British division of smart has just introduced the smart fortwo Boxfresh style edition, which is only going to be sold in the UK, in a limited run of just 55 units. The car will be premiered at the smart festival on 10 September 2011 and will be delivered to customers from November.

Styled by smart and the clever designers at Boxfresh, the car takes inspiration from the Boxfresh Concept Car shown at smart URBAN STAGE earlier this year.

Priced at £11,700 the Boxfresh style edition is based on a passion coupe available with the 71 hp mhd engine. Additional styling features include BRABUS Xclusive titanium finish headlights with LED daytime running lights, 15" BRABUS Monoblock VII alloys in black, "Boxfresh" ghost sticker, power steering, heated seats, 1 of 55 badge on glovebox, "Box" design embroidered on seat backrest and special detail stitching.

Capturing the essence of Boxfresh with a high quality interior featuring embroidered Cognac leather seats, dashboard and handbrake, together with accent parts in chequered carbon, this edition also comes with a triple-black exterior - bodypanels, tridion and 15" BRABUS Monoblock VII alloy wheel - for a strong, aggressive look.
