When an NBA legend like Shaquille O’Neal says that the Buick LaCross is really cool... you begin to understand that car ads are beginning to pay well in 2012.
The idea of this commercial was to show that the luxury sedan from GM can accommodate even the mighty Shaq “with performance, fuel efficiency, technology and... room to spare!"
This is only the first ad in a long campaign that will try to raise awareness for the Buick brand, the vehicles they sell and the features they come with.
But we’re more interested in the so-called “Oh” effect the Buick model reportedly has. Because apparently this sea of bland reasonableness is a top-of-the-line car that will bet you noticed. And even though Shaq can fit inside the 2012 LaCrosse, it’s a snug fit compared to those Hummers and Rolls Royces we usually see him in.
