Shannons Melbourne Spring Auction Expected to Brings Out Iconic Cars

The upcoming Shannons Melbourne Spring Auction is expected to be a shopping spree for car enthusiasts who are hoping get their hands on one of their dream cars at a decent price. Gear-heads are expected at the event which will take place on Monday September 12th , where 17 of the 40 classic car and motorcycle lots are being offered with no reserve.

True petrol heads will be delighted with an interesting offer of three very different Ford V8-power vehicles , an Australian built 1997 Cobra Replica roadster and a 1967 right hand drive Ford Mustang Coupe and a 1971 Falcon XY Ute replica. Shannons expects that the Cobra will bring $28,000-$34,000 while the Mustang to make $18,000-$24,000 and the XY to sell for $14,000-$20,000.

As a treat for Mopar fans, a 1958 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer Hardtop right handed with no reserve price will also go under the hammer. A four-wheel drive 1999 Subaru Imreza WRX will also be available. The car has had documented $84,000 spent on its performance upgrades and it is expected to bring a price between $15,000 and $20,000. Furthermore, there will be present rare and classy European classics like the 1967 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 2+2 Project Coupe which is expected to hit between $15,000 and $20,000.

Other no reserve cars are expected to draw serious bidding among them being the 1927 Morris Cowley that appeared as a prop in the television series “The Sullivans,” and a 1979 Mercedes-Benz 2870SEL Saloon ($2500-$4,000).
