Just one year after its world premiere took place, the new Setra ComfortClass 500 coach is apparently already impressing coach operators and journalists across the entire Old Continent.
At the Busworld 2013 international trading show in Kortrijk, Belgium, the Setra ComfortClass 500 won the accolade of “Coach of the Year 2014”.

A panel of experts from no less than 19 countries selected the S 515 HD for the prestigious award after a range of extensive tests. The S 515 HD coach also received the “Green Coach Award 2013” in Kortrijk.

“These awards show that with the Setra ComfortClass 500 in the premium class, and the Setra TopClass 500 in the top-end luxury segment, we have paved the way for a new future of bus technology. With our new vehicle generations we will once again occupy the leading position throughout Europe in the areas of quality, comfort, safety, ecology and economy. We are proud to assume this pioneering role which comes with a great sense of responsibility for people and the environment.” said Harmut Schick, Head of Daimler Buses.

The Setra TopClass 500, after premiering in Belgium, received no less than three awards, including the prestigious Grand Award for touring coaches at Busworld.
