German company Senner Tuning has turned its attention again towards Audi’s smallest vehicle in the line-up: the A1. After releasing a package for the 1.6 liter TDI version of the car in mid-2010, the Germans are now back with an upgrade program targeting the 1.4 TFSI variant.
The team behind this project opted for applying a new air filter and an engine software optimization module, making the unit to be able to generate 156 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, instead of the 122 horsepower and 200 Nm of the standard model.
In electronics, a power converter is responsible for the gas signal amplification. In addition to that, the tuners at Senner also provided a stainless steel exhaust system in the right / left version including silencer and tailpipes, each 90 millimeters in diameter.
The vehicle's physical and visual connection to the road is made via a set of 18 inch black polish Corniche Monza rims wrapped in S1 Evo Tyres from Hankook. The vehicle also received a set of sport springs that lower the ride height by 35 mm.
All the elements mentioned above can be purchased for EUR4,590. However, Senner says it can also fit the car with a height adjustable coilover suspension, various carbon elements and LED rear lights.
“Now you only have to enter, turn the key and go on...” stated the press release. “Or do you even want to buy a "new" car by Senner Tuning? Sales of new cars and mediation services are also part of the repertoire of tuning professionals from Ingelheim. Leasing and financing complete the palette of offerings. What else do you want?”
