If you like Bluetooth connectivity and brain cap helmets but think it’s hard to combine the two, Sena is here to save the day. The company is releasing the Cavalry model, its first model that allows you to talk over the intercom and listen to music while enjoying the wind in the face and bugs in the teeth.
The Cavalry comes pre-wired and ready to go with built-in Bluetooth capabilities and controls, so users can enjoy all of the great features of Sena’s communication devices without the hassle of installing a headset.

Chat with your buddies over the intercom system or take calls directly through your helmet with the built-in microphone for crystal clear conversations. Or listen to your music louder and clearer than ever before thanks to the built in half-helmet speakers on each side along with optional ear cups to boost the audio level while you’re out on the open road.

The helmet uses the most up to date Bluetooth 4.1, which allows you to keep talking with your riding buddies while sharing a playlist with them, or listen to FM radio and patch in your friend over the intercom while on a phone call.

The intercom works on a range of 900 meters (0.5 miles) for 10 hours of talk time, while advanced noise cancellation technology is said to allow for crisp and clear sound. Of course, everything works in conjunction with the Sena Headset App, available on both Android and iPhone.

As with other Sena products, the new Cavalry helmet can be enhanced with a set of optional equipment, such as a different headliner, ear pads for better sound quality, two different colored peak visors, a helmet pouch or a 3-button remote controller.

Prices for the Cavalry helmet start at $349 on the company’s official online shop.
