The Toyota TR 86 is built in New Zealand, using the GT 86 RC stripped down version as a basis, and it can be used in a variety of motorsports just as it is.
The first TR 86 unit built to championship spec was recently on display at the CRC Speedshow in New Zealand, where special seminars were also held to give more information to intending racers about the car.

As a reminder, the Toyota TR 86’s specs include Sparco racing seats with professional harness, FIA-approved roll cage, racing brakes, Speedline alloy wheels with track tires, racing suspension and a Motec C125 information display.

Next championship dates were also released and will be taking place as following:
  • 9-10 November, Highlands Motorsport Park, Cromwell
  • 30 November-1 December, Pukekohe Park, Auckland
  • 1-2 February 2014, Hampton Downs, Waikato
  • 8-9 February 2014, Manfeild, Feilding (New Zealand Grand Prix weekend)
  • 8-9 March 2014, Taupo Motorsport Park, Taupo
  • 3-4 May 2014, Hampton Downs, Auckland
