Three and a half years ago, the autoevolution team made a somewhat impromptu visit to a place that every car guy on the planet should see at least once in his life.
That place was Bottrop, Germany, where some of the fastest and most desirable cars in the world are built by skilled engineers wearing Brabus uniforms.
While tuning companies are pretty much a dime a dozen in Germany, what impressed us most during our visit was not the way their Guinness Record Mercedes-Benz cars are having their engines massaged, but their leather shop and its awesome leather workers.
The Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG with the Widestar package in the adjacent photo gallery is a perfect example of the amount of craftmanship that Brabus puts into their cars, with this specimen having its interior completely adorned in red leather and Alcantara from head to toes.
The car was modified for a customer by Brabus Middle East, which pretty much explains the choice of interior color, but the attention to detail is what really needs to be talked about here.
