SEAT Inca Rendered

Jurgen Stackmann has been named as the new president of SEAT toady, replacing James Muir (affective as of May 1st). He will be responsible for saving the company from the brink of annihilation, and we're curious what this man can do.
On a much less serious note, we're wondering what the company can do to save itself. For years, they've claimed they SEAT is the sportiest out of all the VW brands, but nobody seems to take them seriously.

So we wondered what would happen if they took an utilitarian approach to selling cars. Between 1996 and 2003, the Spanish company sold the Inca panel van, related to the Ibiza supermini but also the VW Caddy.

Incas have stopped coming off the line for a decade, but the Caddy is still going strong, so we wondered what would happen combined the two. Graphics manipulated X-Tomi Design took this idea even further and created an Inca for the modern age.

The front end of the Caddy was replaced with the familiar SEAT design language. The pyramid headlights of the Ibiza look good on the van, but we'd get rid of the fog lights because they are very fragile and expensive.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
