If most cars are fitted with a variety of safety systems, the things are different with motorcycles. Riders have to purchase their own protective gear, which is why this area is a whole different market. The upcoming EICMA show in Milan next week will therefore be flooded with dozens of companies dedicated to safety equipment and accessories. So is the case with Scorpion, who will be bringing its latest helmet to the stand.
Dubbed EXO 750 Air Eternity, the new helmet is both about looks as it is about technology. Perfected with the help of wind tunnel testing, the EXO 750 Air Eternity is fitted with the revolutionary Airfit Concept, which allows the rider to customize the fit thanks to a small pump easy to activate with a button under the chin.
This way, the two air bearings, on the left and right side, can be inflated and deflated while the system compresses or releases the inner cheek pads.
Also, The Tri-Composite fiber shell (Fiberglass, Kevlar, Dynema) is built in two dimensions on the base of different available sizes: the first from XS to M, the second from L to XXL. In order to distribute and absorb the energy produced by a possible impact, the inner part and the chin are in EPS composite, with two different levels of density.
The aerodynamic shield is neutral and has a very effective anti scratch coating. It uses the same antifog technology (“Everclear”) used by the American army. As accessory you can also choose a racing shield with Tear-Off (Flat Faceshield). The helmet comes in Black-Grey-Blue Lagoon chameleon color, and is fitted with a Double D fastening.
