This story is definitely the funniest, most unbelievable one I stumbled upon this year. Apparently, the whole affair takes place in China, a country where robbers attacking elder people and stealing their bags is happening on a daily basis.
The rider had reportedly witnessed such a robbery, and quickly offered the thief a ride on the passenger seat of his scooter, as a most handy and perfectly-timed getaway. Since the fellows was already a thief on the run, the opportunity seemed great, as time was of the essence lest passers-by seized him, as we seen happening on more than one occasion in China.
first part of the video’s title I could swear that the rider would rob the robber, but it seems like karma is a much bigger bitch. Little did the thief know that the guy who offered the unexpected helping ride was familiar with the surrounding areas and had other plans, and rode the scooter straight into the yard of a nearby police station.
Needless to say, the cops were startled and rushed out to seize the two. While the scooter drove further and turned, the thief tried to escape while still carrying the old lady’s purse in his hands. A poor rugby player, the thief could not break through the cops and was apprehended.
Awesome quick thinking for the 29-year-old scooter rider, and a wonderful way to restore some faith in humanity!
