Speeding and running the red light seems like enough for a tragedy, but it looks like the victim actually made it through after being inches away from a full-on hit.
Even though "lucky" might sound a bit off in this case, the chap riding the scooter was indeed lucky. It appears that the rider didn't even see the incoming car, as we failed to detect the usual nose dive of braking bikes.
So it seems like the driver's swerve saved the rider's life, as the scooter impacted the car laterally, rather than the 4-wheeler plowing through the bike.
Skipping the woman's screams which can easily get another meaning for you dirty-minded readers out there, we cannot help get a bit unnerved by the indifference of the cyclist riding away past the crash site.
