Schuberth Hints for Riding During the Cold Season

Some guys are riding all around the year, if the road conditions allow it, and this means it's all about the asphalt and not the cold. Knowing there are a lot of riders out there who aren't afraid to look at the thermometer and would ride even though it's below zero, German helmet manufacturer Schuberth offers a very useful hint for riding in the winter.

Now, let's be honest: how many of you have ever read the new helmet's manual? Neither did we, yes. But if we did, we could have found this info earlier: the C3 Pro, C3 and S2 come with a small detail which can make a big difference – some minute flaps which can be closed or open as needed and controlling the amount of air reaching your scalp.

Using the small fabric flaps riders can reduce or divert the incoming cold air and enjoy some extra degrees. Located just behind the crown liner, these flaps make sure one can still use the top ventilation in cold weather, but with no freezing air flowing onto the scalp.

Taking a quick look at the pictures posted by Schuberth should put a smile on your faces in case you didn't know about this trick. We did smile.
