Saying Goodbye to BMW’s Naturally Aspirated Engines

In case you were not aware, the last naturally aspirated engine built by BMW went out of production last year, in November, with the convertible E93 M3, leaving the Munich-based company to rely only on turbocharged units from now on.
If you’re a nut for naturally aspirated units, do not despair, as the convertible is still on sale in the US, until the upcoming F83 M4 comes out with its twin-turbo inline 6-cylinder unit.

So, what better way to say goodbye to those high-revving engines the M division used to make than with a compilation of some of the best M3, M5 and M6 sounds on Youtube?

Sure, you’ll spot some turbocharged M cars too but, since they’re the future of the company, I think we can give them a break, right?
