Saleen Automotive will reportedly unveil a new musclecar at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion later this month.
According to Mustangs Daily, quoting inside sources at Saleen, the company will introduce a new Ford Mustang at Laguna Seca. No actual details have been revealed, but the website suggests the California-based specialist could showcase a limited edition 30th anniversary Mustang.
This would be the second time Saleen brings a new vehicle at the Monterey Motorsports Reunion, after unveiling the S7 supercar prototype back in 2001.
The last anniversary model, the Saleen Sterling Edition Mustang, was released in 2008 as a 25-limited production series. It was based on the S302 Extreme and had carbon fiber front spoiler and rear diffuser, hand-painted graphics and a bespoke interior.
