The fourth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is getting nearer to its release date, which should happen in January 2014, at the North American International Auto Show.
We'll most likely see just the W205 sedan in Detroit, with the S205 Estate/Wagon, C205 Coupe and A205 Cabriolet to arrive in a two year time span from now.

The S205 generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate will be the first to be unveiled after the sedan, with the launch most likely being programmed for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March.

The following spy photos depict the second time that a pre-production C-Class Estate has been caught on the road, only this time we're talking about a model being spied right near Daimler's technology center in Sindelfingen, which is probably where most if not all pre-production prototypes wearing the three-pointed star are built.

Compared to the first model caught by our spy photographers, this one is wearing a tad less camouflage, so some of its design details are easier to make out, especially at the rear. Compared to the sedan version, which is technically a mini S-Class as far as design goes, the C-Class Estate will apparently get horizontal taillights in the style of the GLA crossover/SUV, with the width of the rear “shoulders” harking back to the same model.
