S&S Cycle will be the sponsor of the Production Manufacturer class in the 10th edition of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building which will take place May 10-12 in Essen, Germany. The AMD Championship had found a new host: Big Bike Europe, one of the biggest motorcycling shows on the Old Continent.
The Production Manufacturer class is dedicated to custom bikes whose design, engineering and functionality can be easily repeated for larger runs of street-legal machines. Aiming at the street-legal segment, the bikes entered in this class must comply with the EU Certificate of Conformity so that they can receive homologation.
The winner of the class will be awarded an S&S Euro-3 engine, one of the spearheading power units which comply with the new European emissions regulations. S&S are currently developing their line of environmentally-friendly engines in an effort to raise awareness among custom bike builders.
