Even though both the S 500 Coupe and the S 63 AMG Coupe (C217) have already been officially unveiled, Mercedes-Benz is still out there testing camouflaged pre-production versions of the two uber-coupes.
Yesterday we showed you a white, non-camouflaged S 63 AMG Coupe (C217) casually strolling around the streets of Stuttgart, despite the fact that the model is still a few weeks from having its official world premiere at the upcoming 2014 New York Auto Show.

If you look closely at around the minute and a half mark of the following spy video - taken by our friends at TouriClips - you will see another white Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe, only that this one is sporting different license plates and is stretching its legs on the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

The highly-camouflaged model that makes the most of the rest of video appears to be an S 500 Coupe without the AMG bodykit, although the peeps from TouriClips think that it is actually the not-yet-unveiled S 600 Coupe.

Considering that a V12 is rather different sounding than a V8 and corroborating this info with the muffled down burble that can be easily heard in the following footage, we stick to our S 500 Coupes guess.

The odd bit is the fact that the model is completely camouflaged, despite the car having been released for quite a while now, so its exterior design is pretty far from being a secret. We have a feeling that it's the same situation that happened with the AMG GT (C190) with Porsche license plates we showed you yesterday and this is in fact an old pre-production prototype that Mercedes-Benz engineers didn't bother to de-camouflage.
