It seems that the first snow of the year, in Russia, has brought about many close calls. In a similar manner to the event shown in this video, an 18-wheeler nearly crushes three other cars. The truck driver pulls very hard to avoid the impact, and succeeds, but judging by the fact that the other drivers immediately stop after the close call, it is very likely that it had crashed, out of the shot.
As we have previously stated, the abstract concept of luck seems to play a major role in how these ‘incidents’ play out, as at any moment, they could go either way. This particular event had non-violent ending, but we are pretty sure to speculate that in the vastness of Russia, many similar incidents did not end well, yet there were no dash-monted cameras nearby to capture the events.
Driving safely and in a preventive manner can, and does, avoid such incidents altogether, as most happen due to drivers simply going too quickly, on a stretch of road which is clearly not fit for it - as is the case with heavy rain and snow.
