Insurance scams are common all across the world, yet the people who try them don’t seem to be particularly good at it, as most of the videos of such scams are of failed attempts. However, this Russian man is by far the most embarrassing of the lot, as he lacks any sort of credibility.
At first, we thought it was some sort of mildly-funny joke pulled by a pedestrian on a random driver, for fun. However, after ‘getting hit by the car’, the man gets up and with an angry expression on his face tells the driver to get out of the car, yet the driver, after he is done laughing, simply goes around the man and drives on.
This just goes to show what lengths people are willing to go to to get money they don’t deserve, from people who have not done anything wrong. And yet, make no mistake, lots of people get conned by much more credible attempts, and while we haven’t seen that many successful attempts on video (if any), we have heard stories, some of which are deeply disturbing.
