Even though Rolls-Royce just announced that they will be releasing a car capable of going ‘everywhere effortlessly’ (which in normal English translates into an SUV) they don’t seem to be faded in any way. Keeping up with the trend of releasing more and more bespoke models, the Brits just took the virtual veils off yet another collectable.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost Mysore Collection model is, as you probably guessed, a bespoke automobile destined for the ultra rich and wealthy. Its also a bit confusing for a couple of reasons.

First of all, all three (that’s right, only three of them will be made) will be sold in Abu Dhabi exclusively. That move makes sense as probably only oil magnates will afford to pay for one.

Second of all, it was named after an 18th century Indian sultanate ruled by a guy called Tipu Sultan. So what’s the connection between India’s famous Sultan and Abu Dhabi?

As it turns out, Mysore is not only the name of the sultanate but it also refers to wealth and power in arabic, traits that rich people tend to have anyhow.

As far as the bespoke options on it go, the automobile will be a long wheelbase Ghost featuring a gold coach line (that’s handmade, by the way) with peacock emblems (that are also hand made on each car) on the sides along with custom wheels and a gold Spirit of Ecstasy on the top of the Pantheon grille.

Inside, you’ll find special wood trims, bespoke sill plates that remember you that this is a rare car and tigers embroidered in the head rests, to remind you of the Tipu Sultan. The price was not revealed but we’re not all that curious about it either... It’s way too much anyhow.
