Riding a Bike on Venus Could Look Like This, in Your Dreams

Red Bull Trial-X athlete Julien Dupont has set out to exploring how riding in the strangest places of the universe might look like. That is, if we can day-dream a bit and forget about the unwelcoming conditions on the various planets in the solar system...
Two years ago, Dupont showed us how riding on the surface of the Moon might look like, and drove his motorbike on the Sarakiniko beach in Greece. Now, it looks like a night on the Moon felt a bit too cold and decided to take a step closer to the Sun.

Dupont found a Venus-like region on the island of Nisyros, and decided he should try to make more awesome things happen. The sights you're about to see in the video below aren't any more welcoming than the cold grey of his first "space rides."

From the darkened, sullen sands to the reddish barrens, it's hard to decide which scenery is more daunting. The nighttime Moon ride looks almost poetic when compared to the harsh terrain of Venus. And since trial is Julien's strong point, seeing him tackling the craziest obstacles is only natural, even though some portions look indeed unearthly and beyond the brink of impossibility.

It's great to see Red Bull being so constant in delivering such amazing videos. They are a most intriguing source of inspiration for the younger generations, even though many riders would most likely say that it's better not to attempt to reproduce what you see.
