Rider with Zero Braking Skills Crashing Silly

Some olde riders say it's way easier to throw a leg over a bike and go fast than stopping or slowing down properly when needed... and they couldn't be closer to the truth.
Give the very dynamics of a motorcycle, bikes are more stable the faster they go. However, as speed decreases and reaches a certain point, the maneuvering style changes and handling becomes way different. That's exactly why any decent motorcycle training course focuses on maneuvers at low speed, where properly-honed skills are an essential asset for making it back home safely.

This includes braking at low speed, and this video shows perfectly how bad things can go even when riding at low speed.

Now, we could almost vouch that the rider was not paying enough attention to his surroundings. Looking ahead as he was supposed to would have allowed him to see the SUV in due time and slow down gradually in a safe way.

However, the guy obviously squeezes the brakes with a "deathgrip"... and the result of a deathgrip is a wipeout in 99.5% of the situations, maybe more. These stories might help him ride better.
