Rider Manages to Slow Down before Crashing into SUV

We all know what they say: "the first rule is don't speed," but ever so ofter we find ourselves way above the speed limit in the city. Now, some might say this goes with riding a motorcycle, and be somewhat right.
However, when it comes to riding in the city, being able to also slow down when the going gets a little tougher is mandatory, just like knowing in every moment what's going on in one's proximity.

It was a really lucky day for this rider, as he managed to stay upright and brake hard before rear-ending a stopped SUV. The impact happened at a low speed, with nothing but a good scare for the motorcyclist and a small dent in the Ford's rear fender.

Howver, things could have gone for the worse, as we've only seen lots of similar accidents with riders sustaining massive injuries as they came off their bikes or slamming hard into the vehicles ahead. When it the city, dropping off some mph is indeed one of the wise decisions.
