Danica Patrick is involved in a new marketing project, with the initiative seeing the racer team up with AirTran Airways. The project will offer one lucky winner and a guest a special racing experience in the “Ride Shotgun with Danica” sweepstakes.
The winner will travel to Miami with AirTran Airways, where he or she will get to ride shotgun with Danica Patrick in an IndyCar pace car.
"I hope whoever wins is ready for the ride of their lives," said Danica Patrick. "AirTran may drive down fares but you haven't seen anything until you drive down the home stretch with me. Do pace cars come equipped with air sickness bags?"
In addition to being taken alongside Danica in hot laps around the track, the winner and his guest will be able to enjoy a ride in an Indy Racing two-seat racecar and take part in other top events.
“In addition to screaming around the track with Danica, the winner and their guest will also get to take a spin in an Indy Racing Experience two-seat race car, enjoy a private breakfast with her and her IZOD IndyCar Series teammate, Ryan Hunter-Reay and be granted VIP access to the race and the Andretti Autosport hospitality pavilion,” stated the press release.
Those who want to take part can log onto the competition’s dedicated website through September 16, to register using their AirTran Airways A+ Rewards frequent flyer number (membership for this is free).
