Retrodster One-off for Sale on JamesList

Ever wanted what’s the best way to stand out in a crowd of boring saloons an SUV? You can always buy your way into the custom world with big rims, superchargers and bright paint, but the only true way to grab attention is to get something impractical, something from another world altogether.

Austrian design virtuoso and serious petrolhead Knud Tiroch has long been one of the people to go to in European hotrodding. He is, among other things, responsible for the Toro Rosso F1 design, and presented his ultimate creation, the Retrorod or Retrodster, and the vehicle is now for sale on JamesList.

Based on the Plymouth Prowler, Knud had to customize the living daylights out of it so it won’t be lost in a see of other such creations in the hotrod world. With extensive changes to the body work, interior, suspension, transmission and engine, the whole car has been revised to the point where only the front end can be recognized as belonging to a Prowler.

The Retrorod is a concept car with a body entirely hand made of sheet metal. It sports a mighty 6.6-liter aluminum racing V8 up front, ensuring a power delivery of 600 ponies to the rear wheels. Set up with racing suspension, a fast shifting performance transmission and performance disc brakes all around, the Retrorod will reach the horizon faster than you can blink. Having won awards for best concept car at car shows in both Sweden and Finland, this hotrod guarantees a unique appearance and design.

The one-off is currently for sale on JamesList for the pricely sum of €110,000.
