Restomod 1965 Shelby Mustang Does Massive Burnout

Remember the way Roush tested its new Cooper Zeon RS3-S high performance street tires for the 2014 Mustang Stage 3? If not, then you should have a look at the crazy 1:10-minute burnout we reported about three months ago.
If that’s not good enough for you burnout crazies out there, then you’ll want to check out this new video we found. It also involves a Mustang, but this time it’s not a fifth-generation pony, but a restomod 1965 Shelby that has more than just a few tweaks under its classic body.

Dubbed GTK-950R, this Shelby is powered by a twin-turbo 408 cubic inch V8 that delivers 772 horsepower at the rear wheels. More than enough to do a massive burnout, ruin a set of perfectly good tires and create a huge smoke cloud. Watch the video below.
