If you are a Porsche fan, and if you’re reading this post than you are, the Porsche Rennsport Reunion is an event like no other. The people who were there to enjoy the sights and sounds say that the only real niggle they had with this year’s reunion was the fact that another automaker had its name on the track.
So, to give thanks to its fans and to stir up a bit of emotion from the many fans that couldn’t make it, Porsche has also taken to Youtube and other social media channels. This video is one of our favorites so far. Entitled “Porsche Rennsport Reunion IV: This is how we celebrate”, it’s narrated by Derek Bell, a very successful racing driver back in the 1980s.
Porsche’s racing history is celebrated, but not in a static display sort of way. Oh no, most of the awesome racing cars are brought back for an event that sees them raced on the tack to the same sort of limits as when they where in their prime, not just paraded around.
